What do you think is in this pie?
Saturday, I went to a church Bake Sale. There were two homemade pies. One said "C" for cherry and one said "S" for strawberry. My Mom used to make strawberry pies like this in the Midwest. After I paid for it, the church ladies mentioned that it might have rhubarb in it too. But they were happy that I like rhubarb.

Probably a picture from the 70s or as late as the 80s. Was it too heavy I asked myself? Did the tiredness of toil out weigh the humbleness and gratitude expressed?
