The Vintage Table
I just purchased The Vintage Table (Personal Treasures and Standout Settings) by Jacqueline de Montravel. Last night, I looked mainly at the pictures and only did a little reading. There are not as many photos of actual table settings as I thought there might be but there are a lot of ideas on how to put your own personal items together in a table arrangement. The idea so far is to take what you already have, make it personal and mix. As with Vintage Vavoom, the glossy photos are beautiful. Tonight, I will do more reading on their tips of putting it all together. Fellow bloggers, have you seen the book and what ideas did you get from it?

The table is set for St. Patricks Day
I just used the basics from the last holiday & added some green that I had in the cupboards plus a fresh bouquet of my garden daisies plunked in a vintage vase. (as always, click to enlarge photo)
