PINK SATURDAY: Pink Chenille Bedspread
I have loved Chenille since I was a kid. My Aunt Minnie and Aunt Mary always wore chenille housecoats. Relatives had chenille bedspreads on their beds. I can still remember the different colors and designs. It wasn't in favor for a while and then I think Martha Stewart "touched it." The rest is history. Chenille continues to 'hold its own' on ebay even the "cutters". I sold this one to a lady in Hawaii. She was happy with it.

I adore chenille bedspreads. I have three of them..a pink, white and a chocolate brown with pink and white flowers. They are really hard to come by but I was lucky enough to find the pink and the brown ones at Salvation Army. My mother found the white one at Goodwill. They are just adorable and I wouldn't trade them for the world!

I remember always having a chenille bedspread on my bed as a child, and there was always one on my parent's bed as well. I would love to have one on our bed now, but somehow men just don't seem to understand how delicate these things are!
